Here's a quick tutorial on how to play my rendition of John Legend's "All of Me":
I play it using 4 chords. So the simplified way to play it would be: G, Em, Am, D:
To give it a little bit of flare:
- On the G: add a pinky hammer-on (first string, fifth fret)
- On the Em: add a first-finger release and hammer back on
- On the Am: add a hammer-on (first string, second fret)
- On the D: add a third finger release, hammer-on (third string, third fret), then slide back down to D
The solid red dots illustrate the additional hammer-ons, and the red circle outlines represent the releases. |
